At Strelka KB, Russia’s leading consultant in urban solutions, my role was centered around designing and coordinating urban design objects, specifically street furniture and lighting. I was responsible for creating guidelines for the standardisation of these elements in Moscow, based on findings from strategic user research groups. My involvement extended to various urban design projects in Moscow and other Russian cities, focusing on urban furniture and navigation.
My role involved offering expertise to architects and serving as a liaison between them and furniture manufacturers, aiming to produce pieces that adhered as closely as possible to the original designs while meeting aesthetic standards and material requirements, all while considering existing production capabilities. My responsibilities also included proposing custom designs tailored to specific sites, selecting catalogued furniture that matched the architectural context, supervising the production of street furniture and overseeing its installation.
informational Signage Design
For the Khokhlovskaya Square project in Moscow, led by Djao-Rakitine's architectural team, I managed the selection and placement of street furniture and lighting. The project highlighted an archaeological site featuring part of the Bely Gorod fortress wall. I developed a minimalistic stainless steel signage system, including a primary interpretive marker with historical context and smaller plates near the archaeological remains. I also designed a detailed map showing the wall’s original location, using bilingual text and minimal graphics for clear, concise information delivery. The project won multiple awards, including 'Best Cultural Heritage Site Restoration in Russia,' and quickly became a local favourite.

Historical Remastering
I developed technical instructions for accurately reproducing historical designs, focusing on lighting. Each project began with in-depth research and analysis of historical references. Designs were converted into 3D models, reflecting the shift from gas and kerosene to electric lighting. I then created detailed blueprints for production, collaborating with manufacturers to ensure historical accuracy while integrating modern technology.

concept design
Alongside my role at Strelka, I undertook individual freelance projects for various clients. One of such projects was the design of street furniture for an eco-tourism resort in Gelendzhik, Russia.
